Coast RTA Paratransit service is a fully coordinated human service system, including demand response and subscription services. Paratransit service is for�individuals with disabilities or conditions that prevent them from using the Coast RTA fixed route system. Either senior citizens, or people with a disability that are unable to independently board, ride or get off a bus are qualified to enjoy Coast RTA Paratransit Service. Also, people with either a disability related condition, or an environmental barrier that makes it impossible to independently travel to or from a fixed route bus stop are entitled to use Coast RTA Paratransit. These are the only criteria used to determine paratransit eligibility. Here is what you will find in this section:
